Maryport Trawler Race
The annual trawler race takes place at Maryport, a Cumbrian town on the coast of the Solway Firth. The race is held to raise money for local charities and involves a variety of fishing vessels from Cumbria and the Isle of Man. These images were taken between 2008 and 2015 when I provided the official photographic support to the race organisers.
