A view of Derwentwater on a still winter's day. The snow dusted mountain of Skiddaw is reflected in the mirror like surface of the lake. The photograph was taken from the National Trust car park on the shore of the lake at Kettlewell. The lakeside pebble beach is just a few steps from the carpark, and offers spectacular views across Derwentwater.
