Wasdale Head and its Snow Capped Mountains from Lingmell Beck

A view along the crystal clear waters of Lingmell Beck at the head of Wastwater lake looking towards the snow covered mountain peak of Great Gable in the distance. Lingmell mountain, the source of the beck (stream), rises on the right of the image. The photograph was taken in late winter while the snow remained on the mountain tops and trees either side of the stream were without leaves.
